Beatrice was born 2 May 1859 in Sainte Martine, Monteregie Region, Quebec, Canada. She was one of six daughters of Jean Baptiste Loiselle and Matilda Faubert who were married 27 Jan 1840 at St Philomene, Monteregie Region, Quebec, Canada. She married David Leblanc on 9 Oct 1876 at Staine Martine, Monteregie Region, Quebec, Canada. They had two sons, David and Daniel AKA White and six daughters, Clara, Delia, Anna, Rose Emma, Beatrix and Florence that lived to adulthood.
The family lived in Lake Linden, Houghton County, Michigan from about 1881 through 1896. The family moved to Cohoes about 1896 and lived there until their deaths. Beatrice enjoyed quilting.
She is my father's maternal Grandmother.

Gravesite Details

Head stones written in France. it is faded and difficult to read. David's date of death is incorrect. He died in 1919 not 1920. Beatrice's maiden name is misspelled. The correct spelling is Loiselle.
