Worked in oil for Stanolind of Indiana,Pan Am, Amoco,Sooner (Bigheart) Pipeline.
In 1955 they adopted Baby Girl Hill, born 24 March in Wichita Falls Texas at Wichita General Hospital. They named her Catherine Ann Connelly. Her birth mother was Nelda Marie Marcum Hill, later Bartee.
Had two granddaughters, Valkyrie Michele and Zella Marie Schuenemann. Died 27 Nov. 1999 at his home at 5414 Rutherglenn in Houston TX.
Now has two great granddaughters, Angel Marise Connelly, born 01-15-00 and Haylie Rayne Schuenemann, born 03 N0v. 2006, and is expecting another grandchild in July of 2012. This child, his first great-grandson, Nicholas James Wheeler, was born August 15, 2012 to Zella Marie (nee' Schuenemann) and Nicholas Adam Wheeler.
