Ludwig M. Schulte, 79, of Sac City, died at Loring Hospital here Sunday morning, Jan. 22. He was a retired farmer. Requiem mass will be read at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Church here by the Rev. E.V. Carpenter. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery under direction of the Farber and Otteman Funeral Home of Sac City, where there will be a parish rosary at 8 p.m. Monday.
Mr. Schulte was born near Breda, a son of Phillip and Magdalene Schulte. He is survived by three sons, Harold, of Sac City; Ralph, Guthrie Center; and Clifford, Kelliher, Minn.; and one sister, Mrs. Lottie Magner, Sac City.

Ludg or Ludy (as he was called) was a brother of: Mary (Mrs. John Thelen), George, Frank, Phillip, Joseph, Ella (Mrs. John Gute), Lottie (Mrs. William Magner), and Anton (or Tony).
Ludwig M. Schulte was married to Mary M. Gute on February 18, 1908. She was the daughter of Peter and Christina Zenner Gute.
