Job Talbert Beason was the son of Seth Beason and Elizabeth Talbert. During the Civil War, he served in Company G, 44th Iowa Infantry Regiment. He was married to Lydia Jane Harvey. Mr. Beason drowned in 1909 while serving as keeper of the Double Bayou Lighthouse.
