Mrs. Adams was born on May 1, 1922 in Coffee County. She was the owner and operator of Adams Nursery. There she cared for many local children from 1962 to 1978. A faithful member of Evergreen Baptist Church, Mrs. Adams was also a member of the Senior Citizens Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Q. Adams; son, Burney Adams; parents, Robert Benjamin and Annie Chaney O'Steen; and nine beloved brothers and sisters.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Bonnie Morris (Tommy), Warner Robins; son, Jack Adams (Sue), Leesburg; daughter-in-law, Donna Adams; grandchildren, Lori Taylor (Perry); Alison Giddens (Jeff); Brad Morris (Allyson); Lindy Morris; Morgan Adams; Jacob Adams; great-grandchildren, Hannah, PJ, Laney, and Ella Taylor; Nate, Isaiah, and Cooper Giddens, and Ansley, Millie, and Atley Morris. Her 16 grandchildren and great-grandchildren will remember her cooking, singing of nursery rhymes and children's songs, and her devotion and acceptance of every child she met. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
