Kenneth Rory Adair, 52, of Chattanooga, Tenn. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 8, 2010 in a local hospital.

He was the youngest of three boys. He was a 1975 graduate of Brainerd High School and graduated from Maryville College in 1981. In October 2009, he was inducted to the Maryville College Athletic Wall of Fame. Ken worked in the car dealership for 23 years, starting out with John Hicks Oldsmobile and was presently working with Kelly Cadillac.

He worked at several car lots in the surrounding area and received several awards for excellence in his field. Ken attended The Crossing Church of God.

Survivors: devoted parents, Frank and Hazel Adair; brothers, Gene Lamar and Frank DeWayne Adair; five nieces; one nephew, all of Chattanooga; four great-nieces; nine great-nephews; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives; devoted friend, Angela Ramsey-Idlette; a true and loyal friend, Chris (Beth) Cobb and a host of other friends.

Funeral: Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Danny Lance as the eulogist, assisted by Pastor Terrance Hannah.

Burial: Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Visitation: Today from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
