Graveside services for Johnnie M. Terrell, 59, of Chickasha will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 7, 2007, in the Laverty Cemetery with Sister Alice Wendling officiating.

Johnnie Terrell was born April 7, 1947, in Pampa, Texas, the son of Loran and Naomi (Hood) Terrell. He died April 4, 2007, at his home in Chickasha.

He grew up and attended schools in the Pampa, Texas area and later moved to Walters, Oklahoma where he lived for several years before settling in Chickasha in the late 80s.

He was a skilled welder and had worked for many of the trailer manufacturing companies in the area and for Morgan Well Services until his health forced him to medically retire early.

Johnnie was a people person, he never met a stranger and loved meeting new people. He was a devoted friend and he was always there to help a friend in need. He enjoyed visiting with friends, playing cards, being outdoors, and spending time with Susan.

He was preceded in death by both parents. Survivors include his wife, Susan White, of the home; step-son, Sam Waitman, of Temple, Ok; brother, Bill Terrell, of Houston, Tx; and many special friends.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
