D/O Marvin & Pear Donaldson

DONALDSON, Jane Linda (Age 47) She was born July 8, 1962, to Pearl and Marvin Donaldson in Fort Lewis, Washington. She died peacefully, surrounded by family and caregivers on April 7, 2010. She was born physically and mentally challenged. Despite these challenges, she was able to communicate and bring joy and love to those around her. Jane lived approximately 40 years at the Yakima Valley School and was lovingly cared for by the devoted staff. Favorite activities included taking any and everyone for walks, riding around in a wheelchair (and she could find), and finding ways to get into the refrigerator. Jane entertained the staff and visitors alike with her keen ability to find an opportunity for mischievous antics that could result in laughter and memories for all. Jane's presence in this world will be deeply missed. Jane is survived by her Dad and one sister, Karis. She was preceded in death by her mother. A celebration of life will be held at the Yakima Valley School Friday, April 9, at 1:45 p.m. for all those whose life Jane touched. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 12, at 9 a.m. at RiversideMemorial Park, Spokane, WA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to Yakima Valley School, 609 Speyers Road, Selah, WA 98942. www.heritagefunerals.com
