Funeral services were held for Geraldine Powell at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Cozart Funeral Chapel in Normangee, Texas. Brother Hershel Huffine officiated at the service, and interment followed at Wealthy Cemetery in Normangee, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John T. and Versie Powell; her brothers Louis and Edward; and her sisters Vera, Louise and Virginia.
She is survived by her sisters Lillie Irene Seelye, and June Powell; her brothers James Powell and wife, Peggy, Jimmy Powell and wife, Marilyn, and Gerald Powell and wife, Pam; her daughters Pamela Wilson and husband, Doyle, Tammy Wilson and husband, Tully, and Cindy Payne and husband, Derek; her son David Tatum and wife, Joann; her grandchildren Tully Wilson, Jr., and wife, Megan, Michael Wilson and wife, Stormy, Sam Tatum, Amanda Tatum, Crystal Wilson, Wesley Tatum, Tullina Wilson, Gunnar Payne, Sarah Wilson, James Wilson, Ty Wilson, and Aidan
