On June 1, 1900, Martha Ross (45) lived in Sulphur Springs Township, Howard, Arkansas with her husband John T. (45), farmer. and children Edgar A. (19), Mary (15), Fannie (12), Booker (11), and Henry C. (4). She was the mother of seven [sic] children, six [sic] of whom were living.
MRS. MARTHA ROSS DIED MONDAY AT GILLHAM, ARK.
Mrs. Martha Ross, of Gillham, Arkansas, died at her home Monday night, May 9th. She was the mother of Mrs. John Flanagin, of Broken Bow.
The friends of Mrs. Flanagin deeply sympathize with her in this sad hour. Among those attending the funeral from Broken Bow were Mrs. Harvey Cagle, Mrs. Clara Collier, Mrs. Lewis Parker and Mrs. W.O. Stafford.
