Mary Katheryn Keck, 78, of Calhoun, passed away April 1, 2010 in Calhoun. She was born April 8, 1931 in Calhoun. She taught school in Calhoun and Keota for 54 years until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pierce and Maddie (Hill) Keck and a brother, Duncan Keck.
She is survived by a nephew, Billy Keck and numerous other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Elmer Bowden, Terry Monks, Daniel Monks, Wes Weaver, and Lee Bowden.
Services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, with Reverend Tommy Brown officiating. Interment will be at Shady Point Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
