Mary Luler May was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and died at the home of her daughter in Eastland, Texas. Services were held in the First Baptist Church of Eastland. She married Richard May on 2 January 1880. Four boys and two girls were born into this union. She joined the Baptist Church in 1877. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Mangum. The service was preached by Rev. Tennyson who was her pastor in 1906. Graveside services were conducted by Rev. Clement, her present pastor. Survived by Pearl Jackson, Will May, Abe May, and Lucy Hair.
