Ford -- Mrs. Rose Folkes Beach, 83, of Ford, Dinwiddie County, died Saturday at her home. She was a native and life-long resident of Dinwiddie and the daughter of the late Jamed Edward and Rebecca Lewis Fowlkes. She was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Beach is survived by her husband, Charles Wesley Beach; three daughters, Mrs. Nina B. Doyle of Waynesboro, Mrs. Louise B. Ellis of Hopewell, and Miss Lillian Beach of Alexandria; a son, Haywood A Beach of Hopewell; a brother, Arthur J. Fowlkes of Hopewell; and seven grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Hamner-Hardin Funeral Home in Blackstone with burial at Hebron Presbyterian Church cemetery. The Rev. Marshall B. Heizer Sr., Hebron pastor, will conduct the service.
