    Floyd David Nooner, Sr.
Age 71, of Saunemin, IL, completed his life on earth August 25, 2000, surrounded by his family at home.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, E. Alayne (Dee) Nooner (nee Stone). They were married on July 2, 1949 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Conway, AR.
    Born to Lola (Blessing) and Herbert Nooner in Enola, AR on August 10, 1929, longtime resident of Lockport, IL and member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local #1889 for 42 years.
    Also survived by four children, Floyd David Nooner Jr. (Dorothy), Richard Lyle Nooner (Sue), Bryan Michael Nooner (Maribeth) and Jullya Dawn Nooner-Lahr; 12 grandchildren, Susan McCoy, Tony Nooner, Michael Nooner, Tanya Nooner, Deja Nooner, Sean Nooner, Alysse Nooner, Joshua Nooner, Madeline Nooner, Clint Nooner, Justin Lahr and Courtney Lahr.
    Visitation will be Sunday, August 27 from 3-8 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home West Chapel, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL with funeral being Monday, August 28 at 10 AM at Minooka United Methodist Church, 205 Church St., Minooka. Graveside service at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 23060 W. Jefferson, Joliet.
