Elias, the two and one half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Helps, died here yesterday morning as a result of terrible burns received the day before when the little one fell into a boiler of scalding-hot water. His back received the worst burns, and congestion of the lungs set in. This, with the shock caused the baby's death. The accident happened Tuesday at the Helps home in Castle Rock, to which city the family moved from Golden several weeks ago. Mrs. Helps had been washing and the boiler of water had been taken off the stove. The lid was on it, and the baby attempted to sit on the boiler and fell into the water. He was brought to Golden and died here yesterday morning.
