Edward Perry Thomas was born on Sunday, February 14, 1909 in Eufaula, Alabama to Nell Pritchett and Elias Perry Thomas.Mr. Thomas was a Lieutenant Colonel and a Flight Surgeon in the US Army During WWII. He married Corinne Henderson Carter and they had two children: Edward Perry Thomas, Jr.(my uncle) and Corinne Carter Thomas (my mom). He died on Sunday, January 13, 1962 at 7:15 PM at his residence after accidentally shooting himself in the forehead while handling a shotgun. He was 52.
