C00KEVILLE - Funeral services for James L. Randolph, 80, of Cookeville, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m. in Dyer Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Algood City Cemetery.
The family will recieve friends today after 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Randolph died Monday, September 1, 1997 at his residence.
A native of Putnam County, he was the son of Arthur V and Fannie Carr Randolph.
He was a retired insurance salesman, a retired employee of Dyer Funeral Home and a member of Mt. Union Methodist Church.
His family includes his wife Henrilella Phillips of Cookeville, one daughter Patricia Meyers of Florida; two sons Jimmie Randolph of Indiana and Mike Randolph of Nashville; four brothers, Charles and Roy Randolph both of Florida, Edward and R.V. Randolph both of Indiana; a stepson Jack McCormick of Ooltewah; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by a sister Blanche Ford.
Pallbearers will be Roger and Ray Phillips, Archie Moore, Earl Jacquees, Clifton and Jack McCormick.
Rev. Jackie Weeler will officiate at the services.
