Alexis Nicole Lowery of Springfield died at 10:26 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at her home, age 15. She was born March 7, 1983, in Moline, the daughter of Roscoe Wilson and Rosalie Howard Lowery. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harvey Howard. Miss Lowery was a sophomore high honor student at Ursuline Academy where she was involved in the Theatre and Art Club, cross country and basketball. She was also a very talented artist. She was a member of Church of the Little Flower. Surviving are: her parents Roscoe Wilson and Rosalie Howard Lowery; grandparents, Gil and Marge Wilson of Deltona, Fla., and Doris Cooper of Macomb; a sister, Rachel Lowery of Springfield; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family of Alexis Nicole Lowery is being served by Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 1998, until time of Concelebrated Funeral Mass at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Church of the Little Flower with the Rev. Al Kemme officiating. Private interment. Memorial contributions may be made to Ursuline Academy-Art Department, 1400 N. Fifth St., Springfield Ill., 62702.
