Courtney Michelle Triche Shaffett, 33, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010, at her home in French Settlement. She worked as a billing clerk with Woman's Hospital, Baton Rouge. Courtney was a loving mother, daughter and sister and her family and friends will miss her dearly. Visitation will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, French Settlement, on Tuesday, March 16, from 8:30 a.m. to time of funeral Mass at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Jason Palermo. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survived by her mother and stepfather, Arleen and Michael Roper; father and stepmother, Michael and Yevette Triche; son, Noah Shaffett; sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Brian Lobell; brother, Ernest Triche; as well as her family at Woman's Hospital. Services under direction of Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs.
