Dorothy Carroll Gabbard, 89, formerly of West Lafayette, Indiana, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Indian River Estates Medical Center, Vero Beach, Fl.
She was born in Mercer County, Ky. Her parents preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gabbard, in 1993.
Survivors include her son, William Edward Gabbard of Aurora, Colorado; three daughters, Rebecca Gabbard Fernald of Richmond, Va., and Anne Gabbard Malsbary and Jane Bryant, both of Vero Beach; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
