He was born February 9, 1936, in Elk Point, South Dakota to the late Roy M. Sr. and Lora Saville Robertson. Retired from Cumberland Farms Convenience Store, he was an active member of American Legion, Post 123 of Lexington, a United States Army Veteran and of the Methodist Faith.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2008, at Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, one son, five daughters, a brother and sister, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel, Crawford, is in charge of arrangements
