Thanks so much to Always Saffron Wings for sponsoring this memorial!

Thanks so much for transferring this memorial to me!!

Errol Lynn Adams or Lynn was born in Altavista, Virgina. Second son to Floyd James and Dorothy Belle Thurman Adams In Altavista, Campbell County, Virginia, USA.

When he was a little boy, our father says that he was a leader. He would say to his older brother, "Come on, Mimmy, let's go." And off they went... Probably to get into trouble somewhere. (Mimmy because he couldn't pronounce Timmy. It came out Mimmy.) His nickname was Hard Rock because he was always one tough cookie even when he was a little tyke!!

He went to school in Altavista, Virginia. Then in 1950, the family moved to Victoria, Virginia. For the rest of his schooling, he went to Victoria High School. He graduated in 1960.

He married Brenda Ingram. They had one son Stephen Lynn. Brenda was pregnant with their second son, Michael, when Lynn died in a tragic accident. Thus Michael, who looked so much like him, never met his father. So sad for both of them...
