George William Mynes, 63, of 901 W. Beverley St. died Sunday (Sept. 14, 1980) at his residence.
He was born July 18, 1917, in Greenville, son of George H. and Grace Hannah (Reese) Mynes. He was a member of Greenville United Methodist Church.
He was employed by Coopers Co. in Baltimore, Md., then by Dixie Gas and Oil Corp. for about 10 years and then by Valley Rescue Mission as a cook.
Burial will be in Thornrose Cemetery.
