LAKE HELEN - Milton Edward Walker, 83, of Sevilla Avenue, who retired from the Air Force, died Saturday at Lake Shores Health and Rehabilitation Center, Melbourne. Mr. Walker, who served during World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars, was born in Waterbury, Conn., and came here in 1962 from Wichita, Kan. He was a member of Rolling Hills Moravian Church, Longwood, South Seminole Masonic Lodge No. 364, Casselberry, the Orlando Scottish Rite and Bahia Shrine, Orlando. Survivors include a son, Gary, Lake Helen; a daughter, Cynthia Broome, St. Stephens, S.C., a brother, Charles Walker, West Melbourne; a sister, Anita Brent, Fort Lauderdale; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Memorial donations may be made to Tampa Shriners Hospital, 12502 N. Pine Drive, Tampa, FL 33612. Deltona Memorial, Orange City, is in charge.

LAKE HELEN - Milton Edward Walker, 83, of Sevilla Avenue, died March 13, 2004, at Lake Shores Health and Rehabilitation in Melbourne. Mr. Walker retired in 1963 as a captain in the U.S. Air Force. Born in Waterbury, Conn., he moved to this area in 1962 from Wichita, Kan. He was a member of Rolling Hills Moravian Church in Longwood, South Seminole Masonic Lodge 364 in Casselberry, Orlando Scottish Rite Bodies, and the Bahia Shrine in Orlando. Mr. Walker served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II, including taking part in the Burma campaign, and he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and the early part of the Vietnam War. He is survived by one son, Gary of Lake Helen; one daughter, Cynthia Broome of St. Stephen, S.C.; one brother, Charles of West Melbourne; one sister, Anita Brent of Fort Lauderdale; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Memorial donations may be made to Tampa Shriners Hospital, 12502, N. Pine Drive, Tampa FL 33612. Deltona Memorial was in charge.
