(Gravelin) Pittsley and the son of the late Walter L. and Elizabeth (Rogers) Pittsley. He was b. in Middleborough, Plymouth, MA, USA and was the proprietor of Walt's Used Cars. He served in the Army during World War II. Survivors include his widow; a son, Walter R. Pittsley, Jr. of Middleborough, Plymouth, MA, USA; three daughters, Eleanor M. Kirkland of Wareham, and Betsy T. Cass and Sharon L. Sequeira, both of Middleborough, Plymouth, MA, USA; four sisters, Mazie Bentley and Priscilla Sylvia, both of Middleborough, Plymouth, MA, USA, Jeanne Bowman of Florida and Nancy Couto of East Taunton; 14 Grandchildren; eight Great-Grandchildren; and several Nieces and Nephews. He was the father of the late Douglas L. Pittsley and brother of the late Shirley Gouviea and Elizabeth Melville. His funeral will be at 10 A.M. on Tuesday in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleborough, Plymouth, MA, USA. Burial will follow in the Nemasket Hill Cemetery, Middleborough, Plymouth, MA, USA.
