Max L. Agar, 83, of Cass
City died Tuesday, March
28, at his residence after a
short illness.
He was born July 30,1905,
in Cass City, the son of
Robert and Mae (Gage)
Agar.
Mr. Agar was married to
Miss Gladys Clark Nov. 17,
1925, in Deford. Following
their marriage, they made
their home in Cass City.
He attended the First Baptist
Church of Cass City.
He is survived by his wife,
Gladys; 3 daughters, Mrs.
Gene (Maxine) Sickler of
Morley, MI, Mrs. Allen
(Marilyn) Jennex of Fountain
Valley, Calif., Mrs.
Clifford (Ruth Ann) Owens
of Port Charlotte, Ha., and
one son, Graydon Agar of
Oldsmar,Fla.; 2 sisters,Mrs.
Pearl Hartwick of Argyle
and Mrs. Ernest Nicol of
Marlette; 13 grandchildren
and 18 great-grandchildren,
Two brothers, Robert and
Willard, preceded him in
death.
Funeral services were held
Friday, March 3 1, at Little's
Funeral Home, Cass City,
with Rev. John R. Wood,
pastor of First Baptist
Church of Cass City, officiating.
Burial was in Novesta
Cemetery, Cass City.
