SERVICES THURSDAY FOR WILLIAM H. MARLOW
William H. Marlow, 82, 801 S. Madison St., Du Quoin, died Tuesday at the Marshal Browning Hospital at Du Quoin.

Mr. Marlow, a former laundry owner at Du Quoin, had been living with a daughter at Elkville. He retired several years ago after operating the Marlow's Laundry at Du Quoin for 40 years. He was a member of the Du Quoin First Baptist Church where he had been a deacon for more than 40 years. Mr. Marlow was born April 22, 1878, in Du Quoin Township a son of Cole and Sirilda Casey Marlow. He was married to Mrs. Lillie May Maclin Marlow, who died in 1936. He later married Mrs. Grace Wilkerson Marlow, who died in 1959. He leaves son, Lester Marlow, East St. Louis, daughter Mrs. Gladys Kopp Jr., Elkville; brothers Edgar Marlow, and Weldon Marlow, both of Du Quoin; and Guy Marlow, Tamaroa; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A sister and a daughter preceded him in death.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home today at the Schroeder Funeral until the services, Home at Du Quoin. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home of the First Baptist Church. ...tor will officiate at services with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
