ANDERSON, Jerry Burnell Age 84 of Powell, formerly of Nashville, was received by the Lord on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. He was a loving and caring husband and father, who loved his family. A member of the Nashville Church of Christ. He was a 3rd Degree Blue Lodge Master Mason and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason at the Cumberland Lodge in Nashville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and Air Force. Preceded in death by wife, Thelma C. Anderson; parents, Sam and Helen Roberta Anderson; sisters, Edith Blanton, Frances Elkins and Dorothy Luke. Survived by sons, Jerry Lee Anderson and wife Gail, James D. (Andy) Anderson and wife Deb; daughter, Betty Jo Sweeney and husband Ray; grandchildren, Andy Wayne Anderson and wife Julie, Jason Anderson and wife Linda, Tonya Lynn Anderson, James S. Anderson and wife Diana, Ryan Trent Anderson and wife Beth, Selena Wright and husband Brian, Derrick Bailey and wife Rachele, Payton Sweeney and Patrick Sweeney, and several great-grandchildren; brother, Charlie Anderson and wife Phyllis; sisters, Juanita Oden and Evelyn Crosby; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 8 p.m. EST on Friday, March 12, 2010 in the Garden Chapel of Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel, with Pastor Paul Humphrey and Pastor Cliff Rogers officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. CST on Sunday, March 14, 2010 for a 2 p.m. CST Interment service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1101 Lebannon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210 with Full Military Honors by the Tennessee Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Andy Wayne Anderson, James S.
