E. Howard Acree, III, 22, passed away on March 6, 2010.

He graduated from St. John's Country Day School and was currently a student at Flagler College.

He was a member of Avondale United Methodist Church.

Howard played Little League Baseball with the NOL for 7 years, 2 of which he spent on championship teams. He also played baseball while at St. John's Country Day School.

Howard enjoyed the river and riding his John Deere mower. He was an avid Auburn football fan who also loved fishing and cooking out. He loved hanging out with friends and family, especially his grandfather. He cherished his dogs Cody, Rex and Molly.

Howard is preceded in death by his grandparents, Emily Mallard Acree and Fred and Sue Hogue.

He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Dr. E. Howard Acree, II and Debbie Hogue Acree; sister, Brittany Acree, grandfather, Dr. E. Howard Acree; aunts and uncles, Bonnie (Steve) Dunn, Joan (Sandy) Israel, Patsy (Randy) Johnson, Charlie (Mary) Acree, Nancy (Larry) Robinson, Linda (Steve) Lee, Diane Hogue; great aunt and uncle, Irene (Claude) Slater; cousins, Peyton (Stan) Suvoski, Robert Dunn, David (Madeleine) Dunn, George A. Israel IV, Emily Israel, Tyler Johnson, Alison Johnson, Chase Acree, Chandler Robinson, Allison Robinson.

The family will greet friends for a visitation from 6-8 pm Friday, March 12, 2010 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Avondale United Methodist Church, 1651 Talbot Avenue. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.

A reception will be held at the home of Joan and Sandy Israel following the interment. Arrangements by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 729 S. Edgewood Avenue, 388-2711.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Safe Animal Shelter, Orange Park, FL. Howard touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be sorely missed and always remembered.
