Saturday, February 19, 1921, after an illness of only five days of pneumonia, Francis P. Fox in his 66the year.
Deceased was born and raised on the Frank Vogt Farm in New Design Precinet, and was married to Miss Mary Curran in 1878. His wife preceded him in death in 1883. One daughter, Mrs. Wm. Gannon of St. Louis, Survives.
He is also survived by a brother, Edward Fox, who is a member of the St. Louis Police force. Sergeant James Fox, and Thomas Fox, brothers, both of St. Louis, preceded him in death.
Mr. Fox was employed as watchman in the first National Bank of St. Louis for the past several years, and was held in the highest esteen by all who knew him.
His funeral took place in st. Louis Monday from the residence of his niece, Mrs. Agness Dunn, where he made his home for many years past. many of his old time friends were present to attend the last sad rites.
