MISS ALICE C. MILLER
Miss Alice C. Miller died Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the home of J.E. Desper, Staunton, Rt. 2.
She was born at Greenville on Nov. 20, 1870, daughter of the late Cornelius and Mary B. Miller.
Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. E.D. McClure, of Greenville, and Mrs. Dudley Brooks, of Mt. Sidney; three nephews, W.E. Hawpe, Staunton, Rt. 4; Thomas G. Hawpe and Charles K. Hawpe, both of Waynesboro. Miss Miller was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Staunton.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 3:30 p.m. at the chapel of the Rosen Funeral Home in Middlebrook. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Richard R. Potter. Interment will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Steeles Tavern.
Active pallbearers will be William Mish, Sherwood Desper, David Bell, Thomas G. Hawpe, William H. McClure, and W. Erskine Hawpe.
Honorary: W.H.H. Brewster, E.F. Eldred, Lyle Humphries, James W. Ramsey, E.D. McClure Jr., William W. Thomas and S.F. McClure Jr.
