Funeral services for Melvin Eugene Adams, 48, Athens, who died Friday afternoon at the Athens-Limestone Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. today at the North Side Church of Christ, with burial in Roselawn Cemetery, McConnell Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ruthie L. Adams, Athens; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Ann Breedwell, Athens and Mrs. Martha Faye Harbin, Athens; three sons, Charles Adams, Huntsville, David Adams and Bobby Adams, both of Athens; his mother, Mrs. Evie Adams, Athens; a sister, Mrs. Elzie Evans, St. Louis; a brother, Frank Adams, St. Louis; and two grandchildren.
