He had been a Salina resident for many years prior to moving to rural Minneapolis. He had worked for Jo-Mar Dairy, Elmore Dairy, both of Salina, Roberts Dairy, Concordia and Dynamold Corp., Salina. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Masonic Lodge #60, Isis Shrine Provost Guard and Odd Fellows, all of Salina.
Survivors include his wife Frances M. of the home; three daughters, Judy Donor of Salina, Melinda Kay Gould of Santa Maria, California and Susan Area of Salina; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Funeral was February 8 at Ryan Mortuary in Salina. Rev. Charles Aase officiated. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery, Salina.
