Elaine R. (Clark) Lykudis, 70, of Fairmount, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends after a short illness. Born in Syracuse, she was a lifetime Syracuse area resident. She retired from Pass & Seymour in 2004 after 18 years of service. Elaine was a communicant of Holy Family Church and was a volunteer for Hospice of CNY. She was known for her cake baking talents and her love for life. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Dennis Lykudis, in 2008. She is survived by her two children: a son, Jack, and a daughter, Tina (Anthony) Vecchio; and four grandchildren, Steven Lykudis, Kari Kimpland, and Elaina and Arlea Vecchio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Church. Burial will be private in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A calling hour will be Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Whelan Bros. & Hulchanski Funeral Home, 3700 W. Genesee St. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Elaine's name to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.
