On Thursday, February 25, 2010, Kent Larsen Lawrence passed away at his home.
Kent was born August 20, 1959 in Ogden, to Spencer C. and Melva L. Lawrence.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing and was also an avid electronics buff and photographer.
Kent met Jennifer in 1995 and they were married August 22, 1998.
He was a family man and attended many programs and recitals where his children performed.
Kent was a quiet, gentle man with a quirky sense of humor. His friends and family will miss that.
During his career Kent worked mainly in the janitorial industry. He was also employed by Coca Cola and Fresenius Medical. The last several years he was employed at the Adams Avenue Parkway Toll Road.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, children, Ryan (Danielle), Roy; Michael, Jared, Sara, and Kara, all of Ogden; and one sister, Eileen (Andy) Wheatley, Arizona; two grandchildren, Rylee and Kaylee; and his dogs, King and Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Spencer and Melva, two brothers, Craig and Kirk, and one sister, Carolyn.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Washington Terrace 3rd Ward Chapel, 4800 South 300 West.
Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday at the Ward Chapel from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Richmond City Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Kent Lawrence Memorial Fund at Golden West Credit Union.
