MRS. PLYMON MUNSIL
Many friends were saddened on Sunday upon learning of the demise of Mrs. Plymon MUNSIL which occurred at her home in Ellenburg Depot at 4:30 pm after an illness of several weeks. She was confined to the Physicians Hospital at Plattsburgh for eight weeks with a broken hip.

Mrs. MUNSIL, whose maiden name was Miss. Mary I. DOUGLAS was born in Hinchinbrook, Que., in the year 1847. At the age of 10 years she came to Chateaugay with her parents and settled in the northeastern section of the town known as Earlville, where in 1873 the deceased was united in marriage to Plymon MUNSIL and they resided in Chateaugay until 1902 when they took up their residence at Ellenburg Depot.

Mrs. MUNSIL was a lady greatly beloved by all people with whom she came in contact. She sought no honors but gave her whole-hearted interest to any worthy task that was required of her. A life long member of the Methodist Episcopal church she strove to follow in the footsteps of the Divine Master and will be sadly missed not only by the members of her family but by the entire community. She has gone to her eternal reward leaving a record of noble deeds well done.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Miss. Bell MUNSIL, of Ellenburg Depot, Mrs. Joseph E. FERRIS, of Plattsburth, and one son, Charles D. MUNSIL, of Ellenburg Depot who is assemblyman from Clinton county, a niece, Mrs. Mollie McCANN, of this village, and to these is extended the sincerest and most heartfelt sympathy.

Funeral services were held at her late residence on Tuesday afternoon, Dr. J.H.E. Rickard, pastor of the Methodist church at Ellenburg Depot officiating. Interment was made in the family plot at the Earlville cemetery in Chateaugay.

The pall bearers were George W. GILBERT, S.W. CHEESEMAN, E.J. CHEESEMAN, E.W. PAUL, G.W. SOPER and N.I. WHITE
