Roger Wayne Reed, 16, route 3, Vevay in Jefferson County, died of massive internal injuries in the one vehicle accident at 5:40 pm Sunday, according to Dispatcher Mike Robbins of the Indiana State Police post at Versailles.
Reed's sister, Gina M. Reed, 17, was driving the car east on 56 about 3.5 miles west of Vevay. Robbins said. She met another vehicle on a slight curve, sweved her vehicle and lost control of it.

Robbins said Gina Reed was treated at the Kings Daughters Hospital for an injured left ankle and face lacerations and released.
Robbins said Trooper Vernon Henry checked the accident.
He said neither of the teenagers were wearing a seat belt.
