George A. Huffington, 85, of Lexington, died Nov. 4, 2004, in Madison.

Born in Normal, Ill., on Sept. 25, 1919, he was the son of Herbert and Anna Schultz Huffington.

He married Helen Tingle on Jan. 3, 1944, and she died April 19, 1992. He married Elizabeth J. Kelly on May 22, 1997, and she survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Rosalee Means (husband: Robert) of Hanover, and Marie Howard (husband Russell) of Madison; two sons, James Huffington (wife: Anna) of Madison, and Dennis Huffington (wife: Lucille) of Delphi; two stepdaughters, Cleo Devine (husband: June) and Shirley Hamilton (husband: Nolan Jr.), all of Milton, Ky.; two stepsons, Terry Fitzgerald (wife: Lavonna) of Carrollton, Ky., and David Fitzgerald of Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Betty Niccum of Greenwood; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; eight step- grandchildren; and 19 step great-grandchildren.

Services were Nov. 7 in Madison, with burial at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
