Services for Mrs. Minnie Mae Buckner,67,of 1936 Ferry St. SE,who died in a local nursing home Friday after a long illness,will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Howell-Edwards Funeral Chapel, with Rev. James P. Hunter officiating. Interment will be in Belcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, she moved as a child to Mount Angel and had lived in Salem for more than 40 years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and a Gold Star Mother.
Surviving are the widower,Fred Buckner,Salem;two sons Phillip Willig,Salem;and Leroy Willig,Tacoma,Wash.;and three grandchildren.
