Brown was born 11-Feb-1901 in Tishomingo, OK., to John and Molly (Wilson) Carpenter. She married 01-Jan-1920 Pete Brown in Colgat, OK. She attended school in eastern Oklahoma around the Tishomingo area until she completed the eighth grade. She was a member of the Binger Baptist Church.
She was proceeded in death by her husband; her parents; four sons, James, Roy, Pete, Jr., and PeeWee; one daughter, Heddie Lee Wallar and one brother, Dee Carpenter. She is survived by two daughters-in-law; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers.
