Death (Court of Inquiry) Held at Bathurst 29.4.1943, Reports that he died from injuries sustained when thrown from Army Vehicle No. 25820 which overturned on the Great Western Highway 8/4/43. That he was on duty at the time the accident occured and injuries sustained. That the injuries were not the result of any misconduct on his part and he was sober. The vehicle overturned as result of being driven at an excessive speed by Lieut C.J. Major
