ALLEN LEE HAWPE

Funeral services for Allen Lee Hawpe, 55, Pocasset, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Brown Funeral Home with Richard Cline officiating.

Hawpe was born Nov. 22, 1919 in Anadarko and died Friday in Grady Memorial Hospital following a sudden heart attack.

Hawpe was a painter and a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. Mr. Hawpe had lived the past five years in Pocasset. He married Grace L. Crow, Oct. 18, 1967 in El Reno.

Survivors include his wife, Grace, of the home, two stepsons, Harvey Smith of the home and Eddie A. Smith of Norman; one step-daughter, Mrs. Mary J. Hill of Norman; five sons, George L. Hawpe of Missouri, Donald L. Hawpe of California, Dwayne A. Hawpe of Glendale, Ariz., Gary R. Hawpe of the USMC, Glenview, Ill., and David M. Hawpe of Blythe, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Donna F. Marcoux of California, Mrs. Sharon J. Story of Chickasha, Miss Teresa M. Hawpe of Blythe, Calif. and Miss Carol A. Hawpe of Tuttle; and three brothers, Alvin E. Hawpe of Wellston, Aubrey C. Hawpe of Wichita, Kans., and Adrain M. Hawpe of Oklahoma City; one sister, Mrs. Thelma Molina of Oklahoma City; and several grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Brown Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Ralph Brookshire, James Hawpe, Rollen Hawpe, James Crow, David Crow, Roland Jameson, and Jesse W. Harris.

Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
