Mary Lee President, 60, passed away March 2, 2010. She was a member of Starke Church of God by Faith where she served as Sunday School Teacher and Awanas. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School Class of 1967.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Minister John President, Jr., High Springs, FL; devoted daughter, Mattie President, Jacksonville, FL; two loving sons, William Henry Luckey, Gainesville, FL and Jeffery Carlton Luckey (Jennifer), Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Lille Bell Jones, Starke, FL; three brothers, Alphonso Scott, Jr. (Etta), Reddick, FL, Leon Scott (Patricia), Archer, FL and Henry Cohen, Orlando, FL; six grandchildren, Janay Luckey, Shayla Luckey, Jeffrey Luckey Jr., Jennylee Luckey, and Janayde Luckey.
Services for Mrs. President will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4000 NW 53rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL, Pastor Dan Johnson, Host Pastor, Elder James McKnight, officiating. Burial will follow in Waldo Cemetery under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home 18 N.W.8th Ave Gainesville, FL. Visitation Friday 2:00-7:00 PM Chestnut Chapel and Saturday at the church one hour before the service. There will be no viewing after the eulogy. The cortege will form at the Gainesville Church of God By Faith, 735 SE 15th Street at 10:00 AM.
