Archibald, Orison passed away in Clearwater on Jan 11, 1975 at the age of 64. Mr. Archibald was a resident of Vavenby for a number of years. Also he was a veteran of the World War II serving with the RCAF as a flight lieutenant.
He is survived by his wife May, two sons, Richard of Vavenby, and Bruce of Clearwater, 2 grandchildren, one brother Carl of Truro, Nova Scotia, one sister, Ruth Juden of Moncton, New Brunswick.
Funeral services were held from the United Church in Clearwater on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. with Rev. G. Dickson officiating. Interment followed at the Clearwater Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and wreaths, donations may be made to the Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital. (The Times, Jan. 23, 1975, pg. 1)
