Mr. L. B. Moore, 81, of 502 West Walker St. died Friday morning, April 12, 1985, at his home. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon, April 14, in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Hately officiating and the Rev. Tom Pilkenton and the Rev. Clarence Denny assisting. Burial followed in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Pike County. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. A native of Upson County, Mr. Moore was a retired school bus driver and was also retired from Thomaston Mills. He was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church in Pike County. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Mangham Moore of Thomaston, two daughters; Mrs. Joyce McDaniel of Thomaston, Mrs. Bobbie McCrary of Forest Park, and one brother, Mr. Roy Moore of Thomaston. Two grandchildren and one great granddaughter also survive.
