Services for Mr. & Mrs. George Morse of Rt. 1, who were killed Wednesday in an automobile-motorcycle accident at 11th and Lewark, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Ford Funeral Service Edgewood Chapel, with burial in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

George Morse, 62, was born April 27, 1914 at Coffeyville to Fred H. and Joses (Friskey) Morse.

He attended Coffeyville schools and graduated from Coffeyville High School in 1931. He was a lifelong Coffeyville resident.

He worked as a machinist with the Union Traction Company (later Union Electric) for 20 years. In 1958 he went to work for the Hargrove Auto Supply and Machine Company where he worked at the time of his death.

Mrs. Frances S. Morse, 57, was born September 19, 1918 near Stilwell, Oklahoma to Otha and Viva (Mitchell) Jacobs.

She moved to Coffeyville with her parents when she was two and had lived in Coffeyville since that time.

She graduated from Coffeyville High School.

She was married to Mr. Morse on May 27, 1937 at Dearing.

She was an avid bowler who was active in many leagues in Coffeyville.

The couple is survived by a son, the Rev. Dale Morse of Washington, Texas, and a grandson.

Survivors of Mr. Morse include a brother Harry F. Morse of Long Beach, California.

A memorial to Bartlesville's Jane Phillips Hospital eye research and development fund has been established in honor of the couple. Gifts may be sent to the Ford Funeral Services.
