Funeral services were held Sunday at the Ellsinore General Baptist Church for Orran N. Tucker, 58, who died early Friday, March 8, at the Doctor's Hospital in Poplar Bluff of a heart attack.
He had been ill three weeks. A farmer, stock dealer, former school teacher and auctioneer, Mr. Tucker was known throughout Carter County and in adjoining counties.
Born May 10, 1904 at Ellsinore, he is survived by a brother and two sisters. They are Ottis Tucker of Twin Falls, Idaho, Mrs. Willie King of Thayer and Mrs. George Secrease of Ellsinore.
Rev. Noel Boyer conducted the funeral and burial was in White's Mill Cemetery under direction of McSpadden Funeral Home.
