Mr. Lawrence L. "Hoss" Cliatt, 54, of Route 3, Hephzibah, Georgia, entered into rest Tuesday, May 8, 1979, in a Richmond County hospital. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel, with the Rev. T.S. Morgan and the Rev. Robert Canuette officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Rock Hudson, Alton Bell, Buddy Marks, Jimmy Neville, Verdelle James and James Huffman. Honorary pallbearers will be Local 150 Plumbers and Steam Fitters. Mr. Cliatt was a lifelong resident of Richmond County. He was a member of Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local 150, Order of the Eastern Star 463, Scottish Rite Allel Shrine, American Legion Morris Goolsby Post 150, a 32nd degree mason, past member of Richmond County Lodge 412 and past patron of Richmond OES. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nettie J. Cliatt; one son, Larry W. Cliatt, Hephzibah; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry Marks and Miss Kim Cliatt, Hephzibah; and four sisters, Mrs. Annie Boyette, Mrs. W.B. Tullis, Mrs. Hubert Meadows and Mrs. F.D. Harper, Augusta.
