Rev. Frederick David Daubenbis, 80, Long Beach, Ca., and formally of Madison, died Sunday morning at his residence. He graduated from Wittenberg University and was ordained from Hamma Divinity Seminary in Ohio. During his 55 years in the Lutheran ministry he served churches in Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee and California, including the St Paul Lutheran Church in Madison and the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Milton, Ky. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Olive Daubenbis, one daughter, Mrs. Fredalynne Schmidlap, Madison, one brother, Norden Daubenbis, Cincinnati; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
