Military History.—-Cadet at the Military Academy. June 15, 1914, to Aug. 30, 1917. when he was graduated and promoted in the Army to First Lieut., Temporary, 12th Cavalry, Aug. 30, 1917. Served at Hachita, N. M., to Jan. 15, 1918. Then he served at Camp Stanley, Texas, Instructor in Training Camp, to July 10, 1918; then at Hachita, N. M., to Aug. 25, 1918. He then served at U. S. Military Academy, Instructor in Department of Drawing, Aug. 30, 1918, to April 15. 1919, then at Fort Myer, Va.. Imperial Beach. Cal., and Calexico, Cal., commanding Troop, 11th Cavalry, April 20 to Dec. 20, 1919. He resigned his commission on Dec. 20, 1919.
